Our Teachers
We are a husband-wife duo that has a passion for educating children in fun and exciting ways! We wanted to provide a cozy, in home daycare WITH structured curriculum to offer families the best of both worlds! Zach left his corporate job in search of a more fulfilling career. Briana has wanted to be a teacher for as long as she can remember and her gentle heart along with her organizational skills makes this preschool flourish! We currently also employ two part time assistant teachers making our adult to child ratio very small!
Briana McDade
Briana began Briana's Buddies in 2011 but at that time it was a pet sitting business caring for furry friends. It wasn't until 2021 that she decided to switch gears from caring for beloved pets to caring for children. Briana has such a kind, gentle heart and is most fulfilled when she is enriching the lives of those around her.
Briana has wanted to be a teacher for as long as she can remember. She finished her Associates Degree in Fine Arts before transferring to Illinois State University to study Elementary Education. Briana has over 60 college credits in Child Development but learned the most while working for two local daycare centers. She is excited to use the techniques she learned in her own daycare. Briana is CPR and first aid certified.
Zachary McDade
Zach McDade is a kid at heart! He loves goofing around and teaching children to explore the world in creative ways! He is also quite skilled in the kitchen which makes him the dedicated "chef" at Briana's Buddies Preschool. You will always be greeted with a kind smile from Mr. Zach and maybe a joke or two! Zach is CPR and first aid certified.

Zach has been married to Briana for 7 years and together they have three children, Emma, Logan, and Madelyn!
